Aaron Waxman is the founder of Aaron Waxman & Associates. Aaron graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta in 1997 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1999. Aaron has been representing injured persons since 1999. Prior to starting his own firm, Aaron Waxman worked for two boutique personal injury law firms in Southern Ontario. Aaron’s practice is focused on long-term and short-term disability claims, employment law, critical illness claims, slip & fall claims, traumatic brain injury claims, car accident claims, wrongful death claims, life insurance claims, and other types of personal injury claims.

Aaron’s desire to exceed the expectations of his clients and for fairness is the driving force behind each client’s claim. Aaron Waxman is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association. When he is not practicing law, Aaron spends most of his time with his beautiful wife, two children and his four-legged buddy Snow.

Shanna graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa in 2006 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2007. Prior to law school, Shanna completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in International Development Studies and spent a year studying and living in France. Since completing law school, Shanna completed a Master of Arts Degree from Carleton University in International Affairs in 2009. Shanna is proficient in French. Shanna completed her articles and worked as an associate at a boutique plaintiff personal injury firm in Toronto and joined Aaron Waxman & Associates in October 2008. Shanna focuses her practice on car accident claims, traumatic brain injury claims, slip and fall claims, long-term and short-term disability claims and other types of personal injury claims, along with employment matters. Shanna has conducted meditations and arbitrations at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and appeared before the Superior Courts of Justice, and other administrative tribunals. Shanna is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. In her spare time, Shanna enjoys travelling, reading, and spending time with her husband, children, family and friends.

Zane earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from York University in 2004 and graduated from from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2007. After he completed his law degree, he then spent a year living in Ottawa working as a law clerk at the Federal Court of Canada assisting judges with the cases on their docket, most of which related to judicial review of administrative decisions. After completing his articles in Ottawa, Zane married and moved back to Toronto to continue his career. Prior to joining Aaron Waxman & Associates in June of 2013, Zane worked in the personal injury and civil litigation department at a mid-size law firm in Toronto where he focused on personal injury and insurance related matters, and the occasional commercial dispute. Zane has appeared before the Federal Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and other administrative tribunals. Zane focuses his practice on employment law, long-term and short-term disability claims, car accident claims, traumatic brain injury claims, slip and fall claims and other types of personal injury matters. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. Zane is grateful for the opportunity to work closely with accident victims, their families, and their team of treating professionals to develop strategies that maximize a client’s medical and financial recovery. Zane is also thankful for the chance to provide assistance and advice to people with disabilities or other special needs that have been treated unfairly by their employers or insurance companies. When he’s not helping clients, Zane enjoys spending his free time with his wife, children, and their extended family.

Michael has been practicing in the fields of personal injury and disability litigation since his Call to the Bar in 2009. Prior to joining Aaron Waxman & Associates in 2020, Michael worked at a prominent personal injury firm for over a decade.

Michael is an experienced lawyer who provides effective and efficient representation to his clients. He is regarded by his peers as a lawyer who is dedicated to his clients and their families.

He earned both his LL.B and B.C.L. degrees from McGill University’s Faculty of Law. Prior to attending law school, Michael completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree at McGill University, followed by a Graduate Degree in Journalism at Concordia.

Michael has always been driven by a passion to help those in need and has handled hundreds of matters relating to motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall claims, long-term disability entitlements and accident benefits.

Originally from Montreal, Michael is pleased to serve his clients in French.

Ujjwal is a dual-licensed lawyer in both Ontario and India. Before articling with Aaron Waxman & Associates, he gained over three years of experience in civil litigation in India, representing clients in a variety of legal disputes.

Ujjwal obtained his LL.B. from Panjab University before graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2024 with an LL.M. He was called to the Ontario Bar in January 2025.

During his articling term, Ujjwal worked on cases involving employment law, motor vehicle accident claims, slip and fall claims, and other personal injury matters. He understands that practicing law is a privilege—one that carries the responsibility of advocating fearlessly for his clients. He is committed to ensuring his clients' rights are protected and that they receive the justice they deserve.

In his free time, Ujjwal likes completing hikes and trails, and enjoys playing video games and reading novels.
