The Unity Run is dedicated to raising awareness in the area of mental health, PTSD, suicide prevention & removing the associated stigmas for First Responders. The Unity Run helps organizations such as Camp F.A.C.E.S, Homewood Research Institute and Suicide Prevention Council of Hamilton.



The Unity Run takes place on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Confederation Park Pavillion in Hamilton, Ontario. Walkers or runners can walk 6.93km or 10.4km and there is a new 911 meter dash for kids who want to participate! All races start at 9am.

Recently, Canada celebrated the 65th annual Mental Health Week. Spreading awareness about mental illnesses and mental health is important. It is important to bring awareness to the fore as stigma can be a barrier to seeking treatment.
