More About PTSD Claims

We understand how difficult it is to experience an invisible illness and we have assisted many clients with their denied disability claims for PTSD.

What does it do?

PTSD can cause a person to re-experience the traumatic event or experience repeatedly. Symptoms of PTSD can include and are not limited to nightmares, flashbacks, anxiety, avoidant behaviours and mood changes.

Who usually gets PTSD?

First responders (police, firefighters, paramedics, RCMP) and military personnel, as a result of their professions are exposed to situations that could cause the development of PTSD. However, a person can develop PTSD as a result of a car accident, a traumatic incident in a workplace or other reasons.
