  • Aaron Waxman, B.A., LL.B. -

    aaronAaron Waxman is the founder of the personal injury firm AARON WAXMAN AND ASSOCIATES. Aaron graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta in 1997 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1999. Aaron started practicing personal injury law, solely representing injured persons, in 1999.

    Prior to starting his own firm, Aaron Waxman worked for two boutique personal injury law firms in Southern Ontario. Aaron's desire to exceed the expectations of his clients and for fairness is the driving force behind each client's claim.

    Aaron Waxman is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Canadian Bar Association.

    When he is not practicing law, Aaron spends most of his time with his beautiful wife, two children and his fearless four-legged buddy "Nash."

  • Shanna Mittleman, B.A. (Hons.), M.A., LL.B. -

    shannaShanna graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa in 2006 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2007. Prior to law school, Shanna completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in international development studies and spent a year studying and living in France. Since completing law school, Shanna completed in 2009 a Master of Arts Degree from Carleton University in International Affairs. Shanna is proficient in French. Shanna completed her articles and worked as an associate at a boutique plaintiff personal injury firm in Toronto and joined AARON WAXMAN AND ASSOCIATES in October 2008. Shanna has conducted mediations and arbitrations at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and appeared before the Superior Courts of Justice.

    Shanna is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.

    In her spare time, Shanna enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.

  • Josh Lang, B.E.S. (Hons.), LL.B. -

    joshJosh is a member of the Canadian Bar Association - Ontario and is actively involved in a number of community organizations.

    Josh obtained his Bachelors of Environmental Studies (Hons.) from York University in 1999 and completed law school at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2003. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2004.

    Prior to joining AARON WAXMAN AND ASSOCIATES in 2010, Josh practiced at a leading immigration firm in Toronto. His focus primarily was on litigation in the immigration context. Josh appeared regularly before all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board. Josh has also successful argued numerous judicial review applications at the Federal Court.

    Josh brings his litigation skills and experience to our firm, where he continues his immigration practice and also practices in the areas of personal injury.

    In his spare time, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

  • Seth Kadish, B.Sc., LL.B. -

    sethSeth graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from York University in 2005. In 2008, he received a Bachelor of Laws degree from TheUniversity of Western Ontario. While attending law school, Seth volunteered at Community Legal Services where he provided legal assistance to low-income residents in London , Ontario . Seth completed his articles at a boutique law firm in Toronto. Following his call to the Ontario Bar in 2009, Seth joined a prominent personal injury law firm in Toronto , where he worked until joining AARON WAXMAN AND ASSOCIATES in March 2011.

  • Nigel D’Souza, B.A.S. (Hons.), J.D. -

    sethNigel D’Souza is an associate at Aaron Waxman & Associates. Nigel graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2010. While in Law School, Nigel was involved in the Family Law project, 519 Wills Project and travelled to Delphi, India for four months where he completed Pro Bono work for the Human Rights Law Network. Nigel completed his articling term and was an associate at a boutique Personal Injury Law firm where we practiced Civil Litigation, Family Law, Immigration Law and Estates before joining Aaron Waxman and Associates in January 2012.

    Since his Call to the Bar in 2011, Nigel’s practice has focused on Personal Injury Litigation. Nigel advocates on behalf of injured victims involving tort litigation, accident benefits, slip and falls, chronic pain, head trauma/brain injuries, long term disability, pediatric cases, and orthopedic cases.

    Nigel has appeared at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Ontario Superior Court.

    In his spare time, Nigel enjoys travelling, staying active, maintaining his numerous hobbies, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
